Cigar Adap
12 volt TV's and other 12v equipment is usually supplied with 12v leads terminated in a cigar type plug.
Most recent British Caravans and Motorhomes are fitted with 12 volt cigar sockets. Older Caravans and Motorhomes are usually fitted with "Clipsal" type Sockets (two flat bars parallel to each other, different widths).
Continental Motorhomes and Caravans like Hymers, Burstners etc are usually fitted with 12v sockets similar to cigar sockets but a smaller diameter, they are usually called "Hella" or "DIN" sockets.
If the 12 volt sockets in your Caravan or Motorhome are of one of these types you will need one of the following adaptors in order to safeguard your 12v LCD TV as removing the cigar plug housing the fuse/regulated power supply will put the TV at risk and invalidate your warranty.
