Description: We are proud to be one of the first dealers to stock the latest Avtex W163D 16" Widescreen HD Ready 12v/24v/230v All in One. This excellent television follows the Avtex tradition of setting the bench mark for others to follow. All other TV's in the leisure market with this size of screen have LCD panels from computers with very narrow viewing angles, the W163D has a high quality Sony TV screen ensuring superior picture quality and excellent viewing angles in both the vertical and horizontal planes. This is particularly important if you intend to use the TV in a high position.
This NEW model has a Digital (DVB) tuner for the reception of the TV and Radio Programmes Broadcast on the FREEVIEW platform and a Multi-standard Pan-european Analogue tuner for reception of the traditional broadcasts. When you arrive at your chosen holiday destination the W163D can be easily set up as either tuner can use the unique one button tuning facility (AQT - Avtex Quick Tune). With the inclusion of MHEG5 the W163D will also Auto Sort the Digital Freeview Channels. The other functions are also easy to navigate with on-screen menus from both the remote control and the buttons on the side of the TV making this not only a state of the art TV but one that is easy to use.
The built-in DVD player can play DVDs, Audio CDs and CD-ROMs. There is also a flash memory card reader and a USB port, ideal for viewing the digital photos you've taken on your trip or listening to MP3 music files. There is an RF transmitter allowing you to play the sound from the W163D through your stereo radio.
There is a table top leg supplied for use freestanding and there are VESA mounting points if you wish to use a bracket.
PLEASE NOTE:
An important factor to remember is that Caravan’s & Motorhome’s unlike our houses, don’t have a separate room for cooking and therefore steam and grease can deposit on your flat screen TV over a period of time. Most advanced LCD TFT screens are made of or are coated with synthetic material. This material is by definition porous. This is the main reason that virtually all non purpose developed cleaners lead to hairline scratches, discolouring, reduced brightness and eventually permanent damage. If you clean an LCD screen using wipes, it is possible to damage the screen with pressure points from your fingers. We recommend CleanSafe Screen Cleaner to take care of and prolong the life of your flat screen TV. It includes a safe cleaning fluid and a flat applicator pad to avoid pressure points.
