12 VOLT CONNECTIONS - IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE
All our 12 volt TV's are supplied with 12v leads that terminate in a cigar plug. For safety the cigar plug usually has a glass fuse or Regulated Power Supply housed within it to protect the TV - TV/DVD. Most TV's designed and manufactured for use in a Caravan or Motorhome have one of these as when we say 12v in a vehicle it is a nominal voltage. When you are using equipment from a leisure battery the voltage can vary between 10.5v and 14.4v and with variations in the current draw as well it is possible to damage the TV if you cut the cigar plug off and change to a different type of plug.
