  1. 5 out of 5

Bought this to pair with an Avtex TV in our motorhome. It seems to work very well. It comes with a couple of mounts, one which can be screwed in place, one with a sucker on it. It has to be powered to work properly, this can be accomplished either with a separate power supply (included), or if you are using an Avtex TV, power can be supplied directly from the aerial socket on the TV, there is an option in the setup menus to turn it on.

We have only used it a couple of times but it seems to pick up signal really well, once on a campsite known for its poor signal, so I’m happy. I have only used it inside the motorhome so far, so can’t comment on how well the sucker works outside, but it seems as good as any satnav mount I’ve used to me. I doubt it would stay in place in high winds, but I wouldn’t expect it to.
